VIPs (vacuum insulation panels) are highest-performance thermal insulation products based on a porous core material that is integrated into a special foil and evacuated. With VIPs, thinnest and most powerful thermal insulation becomes possible.

va-Q-vip F

Application: Thermal superinsulation

va-Q-vip F is a microporous VIP based on fumed silica. va-Q-vip has been certified by the German certification body Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) for construction applications.

va-Q-vip F VIPs enable extremely space-saving thermal insulation layers or highest energy efficiency ratings.

va-Q-vip F VIPs are produced with patented foil folding technology providing smooth edges and corners (va-Q-seam). For this reason, va-Q-vip F VIPs can be arranged into the desired pattern without any gaps. Typically, rectangular VIPs are produced and complemented with other thermal insulation materials but special shapes (trapezoid, triangular, cut corners) are also available on request.

For special requirements va-Q-vip F is available with one- or double-sided facings of XPS (va-Q-vip F XPS) or rubber granulate (va-Q-vip F GGM) in 3 mm thickness.

va-Q-vip Floor

Application: Thermal superinsulation

va-Q-vip Floor - like va-Q-vip F - is a microporous VIP based on fumed silica that has been certified by the German certification body Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) for construction applications.

va-Q-vip Floor is covered with a 17 mm thick layer of PIR rigid foam (polyisocyanurate) on the lower side. With this multi-layer setup, the vacuum panel core is optimally protected for especially demanding construction environments.

va-Q-vip shield VIP C - like va-Q-vip F - is a microporous VIP based on fumed silica that has been certified by the German certification body Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) for construction applications.

va-Q-vip shield VIP C is covered with a protective, fire-resistant fabric to achieve a higher fire rating in the application.
